When combined with the T-mount to fit your camera system, this mirror lens mounts to camera and works on both "full frame" cameras as well as the "APS-C" style digital SLR cameras. T-Mounts are available for all the digital SLR systems, as well as for C-mount systems. However, in every case the fixed f/6.3 aperture is not communicated to the camera body. As such, you can use the lens in "M" manual exposure mode or "A" aperture-priority mode only.

This lens has a broad diameter and stocky build, making it a bit easier to handle than a normal refractor lens. It also has a much different rendering of out of focus areas than a normal lens; highlights will be doughnut-shaped rings with more saturation and contrast on the edge of the ring than on the center.

Flip MinoHD with SunPak MagMount .45x Wide Angle Conversion Lens Tube. Duration : 1.33 Mins.

This video demonstrates what the video looks like with and without the Sunpak CAM-2100 MagMount 0.45x Wide-Angle Conversion Lens, including how well zoom works with both. My opinion, the lens is great for indoors and close range (when you need to see people and surroundings close up), but if the subject is a sufficient distance away, I would take off the lens because of the loss of detail. Because the view is wider, the detail in the center is a bit less than without the lens, but take note of the sides (especially the left side it seems) as the sides are quite blury. I think this is ok, however, because it's kind of like periphery vision, the subject should not be over there anyway. Note that the extra viewing range on top and bottom is not blurred. At about on Amazon (with shipping), this is a great lens to use with the Flip MinoHD to correct the viewing range problem. Next video I will show the improvement of close-up focusing with the lens (which is much improved).
